Northminster has a very active music ministry under the direction of Nathan and Shari Crabtree.
Chancel Choir leads music in the 10 o'clock worship
service each Sunday. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6:45-8:00 pm.
Northminster Ringers (Adult/Senior High Handbell Choir) rehearses on Wednesday
nights from 8:15-9:00 pm. The handbells usually play in worship 4-6 times per year.
Youth Handbell Choir meets from 5:00-5:30 pm on Sunday afternoons just after 68er
Youth Fellowship. All are welcome, especially graduates of Kids Club!
Youth
Drumming Ensemble meets periodically during Sunday School time. This group learns special pieces and accompaniments
for 10 o'clock Worship.
Kids Club meets on Wednesdays from
5:15-6:15 pm. This program is broken into two components: Recreation/Devotion and Music. It is designed
for children Kindergarten-5th grades. They share in worship on a regular basis throughout the school
year through singing, playing Orff instruments, and drumming.
Northminster
instrumentalists regularly share talents in worship. If you play in the band or orchestra now or did at
one time and still have your instrument, this could be a stewardship opportunity for you.
Northminster's Music Ministry is only possible with the dedication of the folks who come to rehearsals and worship
services each week. If you have talents that you would like to share with your church family, feel free to contact Music
Directors Nathan and Shari Crabtree.
