This year we not only welcome the new start time of our Sunday School at 11:15 am, but we also celebrate a renewed commitment to our children and youth as we share the faith with a FUN new Sunday School model and curriculum.

NURSERY-PRE K

Northminster provides a nursery for infants through Pre-Kinders. The nursery is located to the left of the Bible Discovery Room in the Education building. This year's curriculum will be "Spark."

K-5TH GRADE WORKSHOP ROTATION
Following Late worship, K-5th graders will meet in the Fellowship Hall for Gathering, Games, Music, Energizers and a short opening message telling the scripture theme for the day-AND THEN the children will split off into the following workshop classes where the theme will be further explored:

Art, Bible skills and games, Cooking, Computer lab, Creative Drama, Music, Science

**Adult Volunteers are needed to help teach these Rotations. Please contact Ryan Brakemeyer if you are interested.

Age appropriate Bibles have been generously donated for all participants and they will be used through all aspects of the morning's experiences.

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL
Come out to the newly redecorated "MU" (Mobile Unit) for an engaging time of exploring your faith with your friends. 68ers and High Schoolers will meet separately. We will discuss items from worship, delve into youth-friendly curriculum, and occasionally participate in Youth/Adult drumming. And don't forget, SNACKS are never too far away!

Kids’ Club
is a mid-week program for all children Kindergarten-5th grade.  Children will gather for a time of recreation, music, and Bible study on Wednesday nights from 5:15-6:15 pm.  During this hour each group (K-2 & 3-5) will take part in choral music/Orff instruments, World Drumming, recreation, and devotion.  The Kids’ Club choir participates in worship on a regular basis.  Kids’ Club runs from September-mid-May and does not meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month due to Committee meetings.

Kids' Club Service Project

The NPC Kids' Club is taking on a service project for the year and need your help.  Our very own K-5th graders will be working with "Feeding Our Future's" Backpack Program.  They will be collecting nonperishable food items throughout the school year to help fill backpacks for children who need them.

How it Works: The program works with schools throughout the county to provide a backpack filled with food on Fridays for children who participate in Federal Free and Reduced Meal Programs.  Parents apply for the program.  The Backpack Program provides children with nutritional staples throughout the weekend.  Any food provided in the backpacks assists families who may be food insecure, meaning that their finances may force them to choose between food and other expenses.
