Elder for the month of September is Dan McEachran. Garland Hughes is today’s worship
leader. The Greeters on the Door are Rebecca and Jody Inglefield. Ministering to our children in the nurseries today is Pat Carpenter Hinely in the infant room; Sharon and
Ray Turner are with the toddlers; and Thacher Inglefield is teaching Children’s Church.
Acolyte for today is Claire Neuville.
A fellowship time immediately follows worship each Sunday. You’re cordially invited to remain for this special time. Donna
Roulic and Gretchen Conway are today’s hostesses.
Jane Douglass White
blessed our church as a member for the last few years of her life. She regularly attended worship, later joining the early
service and singing special music there. Jane had a rich life: she had a loving
husband and family, wrote for Guideposts magazine, worked with Norman Vincent Peale, and was a prolific, published composer.
We thank Jane's daughter, Gretchen Conway, for sharing Jane's music, and we are honored to share this selection with you today.

Hickory Area Help For Haiti: Haiti
has recently been devastated by three different hurricanes, and thousands are starving.
Northminster will be the collection
site for the "Hickory Area Help For Haiti" project. Here are the most needed
supplies:
Health Kits – Gallon-size ziplock bags with the following eight items enclosed: washcloth, hand towel, toothbrush, toothpaste,
deodorant, comb, shampoo, soap
Clothing Donations – New or like-new lightweight clothing appropriate for the Caribbean divided into separate boxes by the following
five sizes (men's, women's, boys, girls, infants)
Cash for Food – Any monetary donations will be used for the purchase of food, which is desperately needed. Checks should
be made out to Northminster Presbyterian Church and labeled as Help for Haiti.
